A wiring harness is an organized set of wires, terminals, connectors and some other parts which transmit information and electric power. In automotive industry, wire harnesses for automobiles consist of thousands of components comprising wires with terminals, seals, connectors, fuses, relays, fixing components, protecting components and some other parts, bundle together, make a tree-like structure and run throughout the entire automobile and transmit and relay information and electric power. Nowadays, cars are equipped with many electronic components that in addition to the basic operations of moving, turning, and stopping, perform various other functions as well. Wiring harnesses are indispensable in controlling these electronic components, transmitting power and signals to every part of automobile.
